“People warned me, when you on top, there’s envy,” said Nas on “Hate Me Now” and has been the case for Meek Mill. It can be called whatever, but Meek Mill is facing backlash simply because he is one of the hottest rappers in the game. During the promotional run for Maybach Music’s Self Made 2, Meek Mill found an enemy.

Philadelphia pastor, Jomo Johnson, called Meek Mill out over his controversial lyrics. The pastor accused Meek Mill of saying he raped a woman in his record. Meek Mill would go on to address Jomo Johnson when they talked on a radio show. Despite his intentions, Pastor Johnson came off as an angry, bitter, man out to get Meek Mill.

Cassidy and Meek Mill have been trading disses for three months with no ending in sight. Now, it looks as if Cassidy is capitalizing off his recent run. The Philadelphia rapper is teaming up with Jomo Johnson for his new EP, the first collaboration between a rapper and a pastor and the pastor will be doing Cassidy’s biography. All proceeds are going to charity.
