Different from the typical meaning, Trinidad James amazed fans when he released his hit single, “All Gold Everything.” Released online, Trinidad James landed a viral hit with his breakout track. Taken from his Don’t Be S.A.F.E. mixtape, Trinidad James suddenly became the biggest craze in hip hop.

Mind numbingly simple lyrics, Trinidad James took the game over and record labels soon expressed interest in the Atlanta rapper. Several rappers took an interest in Trinidad James and he collaborated with Gucci Mane. Def Jam signed Trinidad James to a $2 million deal and he went on to release the “All Gold Everything” remix with T.I., Young Jeezy, and 2 Chainz.

Sha Money XL, initially a G-Unit Records executive, has found a home at Def Jam as an A&R and is working with Trinidad James. Earlier today, HipHopDX.com spoke to Sha Money XL and he defended the success of Trinidad James. Despite all that has gone on, Sha Money XL said Trinidad James’ song is a hit, making him worthy of the deal.
