When Mariah Carey began dating Nick Cannon, many felt they made an odd couple. Whatever the case was, they made it work. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon began dating and soon wed, after marrying the couple began feuding with Eminem. Soon, the couple became the proud parents of twins and showed their strength in 2012 when they stood together when Nick Cannon battled health issues.
Mariah Carey went on to accept a job as the judge for FOX’s “American Idol.” After Simon Cowell departed the show to launch “The X Factor,” taking Paula Abdul with him, “American Idol” watched its ratings plummet. However, with the addition of Mariah Carey, “American Idol” also cast Nicki Minaj as a judge, which gave them a platform to feud with each other.
The current status of Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj is unknown. But, when either of them, or those connected to them, conduct interviews, it is the primary topic of discussion. Nick Cannon recently visited Power 105.1 during his latest trip to New York City. During the interview with “The Breakfast Club,” Nick Cannon spoke on the feud between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey.
