Maybach Music is currently the most-discussed name in hip hop. Only days apart, the label has released mixtapes from Gunplay and Rockie Fresh. The attention is going to the newest MMG artist, this time around. Rockie Fresh released Electric Highway back on Monday and has since been making his media rounds.
Whether it is mixtapes or albums, artists head to New York City to promote their new releases. Rockie Fresh was no exception, as he and Hot 97 have promotional work to put together. Hot 97 is currently promoting their “Who’s Next” series and Rockie Fresh will be headlining their show at S.O.B.’s.
Rockie Fresh talked to Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg earlier this morning. During his interview, Rockie Fresh explained why he chose to rock with Rick Ross label. While he was a free agent, the Chicago rapper also fielded offers from Bad Boy Records. But, he eventually chose to sign with Rick Ross.
