Memphis hip hop has boiled under the public eye for some time. Several rappers have enjoyed success from Memphis. Project Pat, of Three 6 Mafia, was one of the first artists from Memphis to rise to fame, along with 8Ball & MJG. In recent years, Juicy J has enjoyed solo success and Yo Gotti has become a mixtape legend.
Skool Boy is one of the biggest rising figures on the Memphis hip hop scene. With his profile rising, Skool Boy is putting the finishing touches on his upcoming street album, Dorm Room Sexxin. Memphis is Skool Boy’s base, but he is building a solid fan base all over the South and beyond.
Earlier this morning, Skool Boy released the official pre cover to Dorm Room Sexxin, which will soon be released. Everywhere he goes, Skool Boy receives a warm reaction, but there is no place like home. In addition to his pre cover, Skool Boy released a video showing the reaction when he rocks local crowds.
