The most news Common made in 2012 came during the first month and a half of the year, due to his feud with Drake. However, the two met in Orlando at the 2012 NBA All-Star Game and they ended their feud. Later in the year, Common returned to support Kanye West and G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer.

But, in 2013, Common will enjoy a strong comeback. In addition to his album, the follow-up to his The Dreamer, The Believer album, Common has an EP and a mixtape in the works. While Common has several albums under his belt, he is working on his first mixtape.

Speaking with Vulture, Common discussed his solo projects and when he planned to release them. On his album, Common confirmed Kanye West, Travi$ Scott, and Hit-Boy would be featured. Common also talked about Cruel Winter, announced by Q-Tip and confirmed by Big Sean, saying it would not be released.
