Hip hop is definitely growing in Washington, DC. There have been rappers in the DC area for some time, but none who have come as close as this recent generation. In 2012, the world saw several Washington, DC rappers rise to the forefront of the game. Fat Trel quickly rose to the top of this DC hip hop scene.

Fat Trel’s rise coincided with Alley Boy’s rise and Master P’s comeback. With each of their buzzes on the same level, Master P teamed up with the two up-and-comers. During a trip to Las Vegas, the trio made their deal official. In November 2012, Master P announced the formation of the Louie V Mob with Fat Trel and Alley Boy.

During a conversation with XXL, last week, Fat Trel talked about the formation of the Mob, along with his move to Los Angeles. Fat Trel revealed he is working on his next mixtape, Sex, Drugs, Money, and Guns. In addition to this, Fat Trel spoke on the upcoming Louie V Mob project.
