In 2011, 2 Chainz turned himself into a celebrity and he proved he could not only be a star, but also the biggest star in the game in 2012. Throughout this period of time, 2 Chainz has talked about his partnership with Def Jam. While this partnership allows 2 Chainz to release albums, it also opens doors for artists signed to him.
2 Chainz is a Def Jam artist and also the CEO of The Real University, a joint venture he owns with the previously mentioned Def Jam. Among the artists signed to this label are Chicago natives, Cap1 and Ronn Makk. Both artists have been in the background, but have recently been brought to the forefront.
Cap1 toured with 2 Chainz in 2012 and now has a new mixtape in the works. The first single off this mixtape is called “Gang Bang” and features Young Jeezy and Game. Hood Affairs TV recently spoke to Cap1 and he talked about his experience on the road with 2 Chainz and this upcoming mixtape.
