Virtually forgotten, Shawty Lo made headlines during the summer of 2011, when he signed a $10 million deal with G-Unit Records. Since then, Shawty Lo has been scouting for talent for G-Unit Records. Once his commercial run ended, Shawty Lo began releasing mixtapes.

I’m the Man is the name of Shawty Lo’s staple series. Currently, Shawty Lo is working on the latest edition, I’m the Man 4: Everything Lo. In addition to wrapping the new mixtape up, Shawty Lo is in headlines for his upcoming Oxygen series, “All My Babies’ Mamas.”

Yesterday, The Boombox spoke to Shawty Lo and he revealed some of the collaborations on the mixtape. Ca$h Out and Young Scooter, fellow Atlanta rappers, make appearances on the new Shawty Lo release. Production comes from Mike WiLL and DJ Spinz, among others.
