Being signed by Diddy, Machine Gun Kelly helped place a major spotlight on the growing hip hop scene in Cleveland. Previously, Kid Cudi introduced the mainstream to the popular Cleveland hip hop scene. However, it has been Machine Gun Kelly who has helped put Cleveland on the map, when it comes to hip hop.

While he is not the biggest star in the game, Machine Gun Kelly is well on his way there, working with DMX and Waka Flocka Flame, among others. Machine Gun Kelly is currently riding the success of his Lace Up album. DJ E-V, of Cleveland, is also working closely with MGK, as he is pushing the latest Bitch, I’m From Cleveland mixtape.

DJ Steph Floss recently spoke to Machine Gun Kelly, who visited his radio show to premiere his “Ratchet” single. Machine Gun Kelly would speak on his recent success and the work with Diddy. During the interview, Machine Gun Kelly also discussed the Cleveland hip hop scene and Angela Yee.
