It has been said that Andre 3000 and Big Boi have not released an album due to label issues, hence the reason Big Boi has gone solo. However, since Andre 3000 has begun appearing on records, the story has changed. A few years ago, there were rumors of tension between Andre 3000 and Big Boi.
With such tracks as T.I.’s “Sorry,” it becomes clear that there is more to the story than what is being told. There is a chance the world will not find out what is going on, but Big Boi has no plans of disappearing. Big Boi has remixed several songs, many of which that originally featured Andre 3000.
Given the way people fall for things on the internet, many have begun to believe Big Boi’s verses are complete remixes. During a recent interview with Spin, Andre 3000 spoke on these remixes. Recently, Andre 3000 said he talked with Big Boi and explained that these were solo songs. Andre 3000 said he was confused about why Big Boi remixed these particular songs. Saying he did not want to mislead fans, Andre 3000 said these are not official Outkast songs.
