Over the years, there were countless rumors about Beyonce being pregnant with Jay-Z’s baby. Back in 2010, these rumors ran rampant. The rumors were so persistent that Tina Knowles, Beyonce’s mother, jokingly announced she was pregnant. Fueling the rumor mill, the media ran away with that story before the elder Knowles spoke out and then Beyonce really was pregnant.
Those who have listened to post-Blueprint Jay-Z should be well aware of his desires to become a father. During the early stages of his career, Jay-Z portrayed himself as a player, being involved with Rosario Dawson and reportedly Mya, among many others. But, since 2000, Jay-Z has been linked to Beyonce and they finally went public in 2003.
Ten years later, Jay-Z and Beyonce are going strong, having been married for five years. The couple has their first child, Blue Ivy Carter. For her first birthday, the couple reportedly spent $200,000 on a princess-themed birthday bash. Being the daughter of hip hop’s richest couple, Blue Ivy Carter receives the princess treatment, already, and her birthday bash was more than most’s yearly incomes.
