Last year, Big K.R.I.T. finally released his long-awaited album, Live From the Underground. The album faced so many delays, Big K.R.I.T. decided to release a mixtape as a holdover for fans. Eventually, Big K.R.I.T. delayed the mixtape, not releasing it until the spring.
Anticipation for Big K.R.I.T. was high and his album ended up receiving a warm reception from the fans. However, there were also some who were a bit let down by the album, expecting more from the Mississippi rapper. Regardless, Def Jam is invested in their latest Southern act.
Big K.R.I.T. does not intend to make fans wait for music as long as he did last year. He has shown this by getting into the studio with Mike WiLL. Working with the hottest mixtape in the game, Big K.R.I.T. spoke on the new mixtape that he has in the works. Many look forward to hearing more out of these two.
