Closing out 2012, Big Boi released his sophomore album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, which has been a critical darling. Facing off against Game’s Jesus Piece, both albums sold disappointingly. Still, Big Boi is back in the public eye and other artists are lining up to work with him.
Frank Ocean made himself very visible in 2012, as he admitted to being in love with a man. In addition to his sexuality, Frank Ocean delivered a quality product in his R&B album, Channel Orange. Many compared Frank Ocean to Prince for his efforts on the project.
Big Boi has announced he would appear on the remix of “Pink Matter.” Recently, Big Boi was in Hartford, CT. When he went up to Connecticut, Big Boi stopped by Power 93.7 and he spoke with Jenny Boom Boom. During the interview, Big Boi spoke on his new album and he also updated the fans who are expecting the “Pink Matter” remix.
