Things have a tendency to change so much, they revert back to a previous period in time. As hip hop approaches middle age, this is the case with. An apparent mid-life crisis, such artists as A$AP Rocky plan to keep it this way. In 2011, A$AP Rocky made his mixtape debut and has not stopped until he became the biggest new star.

Last year, A$AP Rocky planned to release his Long.Live.A$AP album. With an October release date planned, A$AP Rocky delayed his album until January. Now, A$AP Rocky plans to release his album next week. In the meantime, he has provided new energy in the rap game, as the A$AP Mob received comparisons to the Wu-Tang Clan.

A$AP Rocky spoke to MTV News about his plans for the rap game. It has become evident that A$AP Rocky plans to be around for a long time. Preparing his run, A$AP Rocky said he is bringing 1993 back, here in 2013. With hip hop going on several directions, fans should look to Rocky to bring the old school back.
