Closing out 2012 with the release of Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head, T.I. finds himself climbing his way back to the top of the game. Already, T.I. is working on his next album, Trouble Man: He Who Wears The Crown. Currently, there is no release date for this new album.

Out of the December album releases, T.I. came out among the strongest. There are several veterans who released albums that flopped. Game and Big Boi both released their albums on December 11 and their sales were low. Meanwhile, Wiz Khalifa, T.I., and Chief Keef also released albums.

Rap-Up TV has sat several rappers down to discuss their favorite albums released in 2012. Kendrick Lamar previously named his two albums as Nas’ Life is Good, along with Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange. T.I., meanwhile, credited Kendrick Lamar as one of his favorite albums of 2012.
