Very few people do not consider Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d. city debut one of 2012’s best albums. Staying out of his own hype, Kendrick Lamar has taken the role of hip hop fan. Ranking his favorite albums of 2012, not once has Kendrick Lamar spoken on his own album.

Instead of talking about his album, Kendrick Lamar talks about the results of his album, which went gold. To this day, Game and Shyne are still battling over the comments made by the latter about the album. Kendrick Lamar, meanwhile, has focused on the other albums.

Several times, Kendrick Lamar has discussed his favorite rap album of 2012. More than once, Kendrick Lamar said Nas’ Life is Good album was his favorite of the year. But, when it comes to overall music, Kendrick Lamar also credited Frank Ocean’s debut album, Channel Orange during his Google Play interview.
