When it comes to mixtapes, Troy Ave is the king of New York. Troy Ave, over the past few years, has delivered several mixtapes. While Troy Ave is one of New York’s biggest rising rappers, he does things outside of the box. A good number of Troy Ave’s mixtapes are hosted by DJ Holiday.
Primarily, DJ Holiday is known for his work with Southern hip hop artists. Gucci Mane has turned to DJ Holiday to host a good number of his mixtapes. When Troy Ave decided to release a tape for the holidays, it was a no-brainer to use DJ Holiday. The result was White Christmas.
MTV’s “Mixtape Daily” recently featured Troy Ave and his White Christmas mixtape, with appearances from DJ Holiday and Troy Ave. Showing clips from Troy Ave’s upcoming mixtape, DJ Holiday gave MTV the interview. DJ Holiday also wished everyone out there a merry Christmas.
