This past week, Wale released the Folarin mixtape cover, which was followed by the official mixtape cover. Folarin is the latest release from Wale, as he prepares to release his next album in 2013. Wale has enjoyed highs and lows in 2012, but played the background role for Maybach Music.
Like the rest of the world, Wale is preparing for Christmas. In the rap game, people prepare their gifts differently. Presents are rapped instead of wrapped, which bodes well for Wale. Folarin will be Wale’s gift to hip hop fans, as it is due to be released tomorrow, Christmas Eve.
At 2:00 pm EST, Wale will release Folarin via DatPiff.com. The mixtape features collaborations with Nipsey Hussle, Scarface, Rick Ross, Trinidad James, French Montana, Chinx Drugz, and many others. Folarin, much like the other mixtape releases, has taken on the form of an album.
