G.O.O.D. Music was always full of talented artists, but until recently there was no organization within the crew. In 2011, Big Sean, Pusha T, Common, and Kanye West all had major years. Individually, each artist outperformed most of the rap game, but the emphasis was on Maybach Music, which boasted a balanced effort.

Closing 2011 out, Big Sean announced there would be a G.O.O.D. Music compilation album. With the G.O.O.D. Music crew formed, the team hit the ground running when the spring of 2012 opened. Working together, G.O.O.D. Music found themselves well ahead of all the other crews.

With Cruel Summer out, Big Sean is focused on his sophomore album, Hall of Fame. In speaking with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club,” Big Sean revealed it was his decision to delay the album. Big Sean also spoke on his Detroit concert, where he brought out many big names and he also talked about working with Eminem.
