Today is a big day for T.I., as he is able to make the comeback he robbed himself of two years ago. After going to prison in the aftermath of the death of his close friend, Philant, T.I. reformed himself and promised to come out a better person. Highly-anticipated when he came out of prison, T.I. came out flat with his music and soon landed himself back in prison.

Making no excuses, T.I. owned what he did, even choosing Chris Brown to appear on his consolation single, “Get Back Up.” Upon getting out of prison the second time, T.I. had a new agenda, reuniting Atlanta. The music was on point, but T.I. found himself faced with opposition from Alley Boy and later Gucci Mane.

However, T.I. has overcome all of this and remains the king of the South, in his own opinion. It has been a tough ride, but T.I. saw it through. Now, T.I. has his eighth studio album out and is making his media rounds. T.I. spoke to Big Boy’s Neighborhood, when he visited Power 106 during his Los Angeles trip. Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head was the primary topic, although Will Smith was also brought up in conversation.
