As great of a year 2012 was, it has also been one full of horror. Here, at Christmas season, countless parents in Connecticut will be burying their children. Lives were claimed, just as the world was getting over the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy. It has been a tough process, but America is uniting.

One thing this past weekend has taught is that everyone is still human, regardless of political affiliation and trade. In North Carolina, the top hip hop radio station is 102 Jamz, which is where all the big names come to talk. 102 Jamz also gives back to the communities which support it.

Delyte and Akimi, two on-air personalities at 102 Jamz, have teamed up with Brooklyn pastor, NaRon Tillman, and 2 Men and a Truck, to bring Christmas to the victims of Hurricane Sandy in Brooklyn. Currently, they are collecting items to be sent to New York City on December 22, 2012.
