Representing the Midwest, Emily Marie is definitely bringing sexy out. When Emily Marie is not, intentionally, turning heads with her modeling, she is working as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at her local hospital. Paired with Emily Marie’s beauty is her license to save lives.
Emily Marie is a very social lady, anticipating meeting new people. Among some of her many positive qualities is her loyalty. Once Emily considers someone as close, she does not easily let go of them. This is the case with all of her work, both nursing and modeling.
Hip Hop Vibe recently spoke with Emily Marie, as she spoke on her work in the modeling and nursing fields, along with her background. Emily Marie opened up on numerous topics about herself.

With a background in nursing, how did you wind up modeling? Ever since I was a teenager, I have always wanted to model. Life just kind of got in the way, and I never pursued it. One day I just thought, if I am going to do this, then I better do it now. So I signed up for an online modeling site, and the rest is history.
How long have you been doing modeling on the side? About a year and a half.
Originally from Louisiana, what led you to the Midwest? I have family that lives in Missouri, and my family and I needed a change of scenery so we picked up and moved here.
What do you consider to be your best personal quality? I think my best quality is that I have a good heart. I would do anything for anyone I cared about, especially if they were in trouble. Sometimes I can be a little too nice, which can backfire on me sometimes.
Shifting back to your primary career, why did you choose the medical field? I really love to help people. I feel like it is my way of giving back to someone who is going through more things than me.
Can you talk about some of the things you do for fun? I could go on and on about this one. (Laughs). In the summer months, anything outside is where I am at. I love being on the water, going fishing, camping, etc. I absolutely love to travel and see other cities and cultures. I am a social girl, so I like going out and meeting new people, but at the same time I enjoy the laid back times curling up with a good book or someone special.
In what ways do you feel your ethnic background is unique for your profession? Due to the culture, women are treated and thought of differently than they are here in the States. Unfortunately, women have to cover up their beauty, are more repressed, and have certain expectations. Therefore there are a small number of Middle Eastern models as compared to nationalities.
With a rare ethnic background, how do you feel your childhood differed from others? Actually, I do not feel like my childhood was much different because of my ethnicity. I did not grow up with my dad, so I did not grow up living in the Iranian culture.
You said you love to laugh, exactly what makes Emily Marie laugh? I love jokes, especially corny ones! Ha, ha. If you start telling me jokes, then you have my attention.
Who are some of your favorite hip hop artists? Eminem, Ludacris, Tupac, Jay Z. There are just so many talented hip hop artists I could name and bump to.
