The Gangster’s Disciples, better known as the GDs have dominated headlines over the past few weeks. Members of the gang from Chicago and Charlotte sent threatening messages to Rick Ross and Maybach Music. There were claims of Rick Ross not “cutting the check,” so he was warned to not perform in North Carolina.

Rick Ross later cancelled his North Carolina tour dates and later the entire tour. This abrupt decision led many to believe the threats got to Rick Ross. Not the case, however, as Rick Ross said during his interview with Miami’s 99 Jamz. Obviously upset, Rick Ross sounded off on everyone who had something to say.

Harold “Noonie G” Ward is an OG in the Gangster’s Disciples and is now an activist. He decided to speak on the ongoing conflict. Ward said he is saddened to see black men going after each other the way they are. However, he also warned Rick Ross against talking tough, seeing how he knows what the GDs are capable of.
