New energy is all around New York City and Harlem is one of the driving forces behind this resurgence. The energy in Harlem is comparable to how it was in the late 1990s, when Mase was on top of the rap world. Mase mounted a comeback attempt a few years ago, linking with G-Unit.
Earlier this year, Mase began spending time with Rick Ross. Given the way things looked, many felt as if it he would sign with Maybach Music. During the press conference for Maybach Music, Rick Ross announced the Omarion signing. Since then, there has not been much from Mase.
A$AP Rocky, however, has continued to hold Harlem down. Both Harlem heavyweights will share the couch on MTV’s “RapFix Live.” Sway Calloway, earlier today, revealed the two would be speaking with him tomorrow. Fans can catch the show at 4 pm on MTV.com.
