Freddie Gibbs hints leaving CTE on Twitter

During a recent interview with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club,” Freddie Gibbs was asked when he would release his debut album. Freddie Gibbs never gave a complete answer, but said the album may not come out with CTE. Known for his hardcore music and lifestyle, Gibbs was also hesitant to jump into CTE’s beefs.

Freddie Gibbs said CTE was his family, but he did not known enough about the situations with either Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, or BMF to jump right in. During the spring of 2011, Freddie Gibbs signed to CTE. Perhaps the biggest signing from Gary, Indiana in hip hop, Freddie Gibbs has only released mixtapes over this span of time.

After separating himself from CTE in both music and beefs, Freddie Gibbs made questionable posts on Twitter over the weekend. On Friday, Freddie Gibbs compared himself to NBA superstar, LeBron James. Freddie Gibbs said he felt like James with “The Decision” during this period of time.
