First, there was Ca$h Out, then there was Chief Keef, and then Juicy J, but 2012 proved to be the year when four breakout artists would take off. Trinidad James burst into stardom a month ago with the release of his “All Gold Everything” single. Since then, Trinidad James has caught the attention of everyone in the game.
Things are looking up for Trinidad James, who only started rapping a little over a year ago, and recently visited New York City. In town for his interview with Sway Calloway for MTV’s series, “RapFix Live,” Trinidad James stuck around. Additional media rounds were made this morning and he visited Hot 97.
Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg had the pleasure of speaking with Trinidad James. The duo grilled the rising rapper about “All Gold Everything.” There were many who thought the song was a hoax when it came out. Hot 97’s popular personalities asked Trinidad James what the inspiration behind the song was.
