Interest in the Wu-Tang Clan is high, especially after RZA released the soundtrack for The Man with the Iron Fists and their twentieth anniversary approaching. Raekwon admitted there will likely be a long wait before another album comes. However, as long as there are breathing members, a new album will be coming.
Raekwon last released his own solo album in 2011, Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang. Once again wowing the critics, Raekwon took it back to the streets. Maintaining heavy Canadian ties, Raekwon released his Unexpected Victory mixtape and filled the streets. There was a tour held in Canada for the mixtape.
With a new album planned for 2013, Raekwon has announced his Lost Jewelry EP. In an earlier Twitter post, Raekwon revealed the EP will come in January. Early speculation about the EP had it released either later this month or sometime next year. Discussion can now cease, as Raekwon confirmed a January release.
