During the spring, Jadakiss impressed the game with Consignment, his free album/mixtape. The project was met with critical acclaim and commercial success, furthering anticipation for his next album. Initially, Jadakiss planned to release his album, Top 5 Dead or Alive, in 2012.
With twenty-seven remaining days in 2012 and not even an album announcement, Jadakiss is probably not dropping a new album. However, Jadakiss titled his last project Consignment because it was his last freebie. Along with Jadakiss’ solo album, anticipated highly is the long-awaited new album from The L.O.X.
Montreality spoke to Jadakiss during his most-recent trip to Montreal. Jadakiss spoke on his upcoming album briefly. With Styles P and Sheek Louch currently buzzing, it did not take long for talk to shift toward the next L.O.X. album. What Jadakiss would announce would be The L.O.X.’s long-awaited third effort, We Are the Streets 2.
