Futures plans to go R&B on “Future Hendrix”

Clearly, Future likes to sing, even though he is classified as a rapper. Paying close attention, Future sings most of his raps. His biggest hits, “Tony Montana,” “Magic,” “Same Damn Time,” and “Turn on Da Lights” feature Future singing. During a recent interview with Hot New Hip Hop, Future says to expect more of this.

Before the release of Pluto, Future announced he would soon have new music out to the masses. Future revealed he had a mixtape, Pluto 3D, in the works. Following the mixtape, Future announced Future Hendrix, his sophomore album. At one point, the popular Atlanta rapper said the album may come in 2012, too.

During his interview, Future explained his second album would be coming sometime in 2013. With the album due in the next few months, Future revealed he was headed more in the direction of R&B. Already, Future is singing on his songs and now he will follow Kanye West as a rapper with an R&B album.
