Odd Future is definitely the right name for the outfit led by Tyler, the Creator. Each artist is their own individual and it shows. Different is what pushed the group over the edge. Internet stardom landed Odd Future co-signs from Game and many other major names. Jay-Z and Kanye West famously featured Frank Ocean on Watch the Throne.
Most of Odd Future’s success came while Earl Sweatshirt was away. Due to his outrageous behavior, Earl Sweatshirt was sent to reform school. Unable to communicate, the members of Odd Future lost contact. When Earl Sweatshirt returned, his crew was full of superstars.
Considered the lyricist of Odd Future, Earl Sweatshirt has caused a media frenzy. The young emcee recently released the official video to his “Chum” single. Along with the release of the “Chum” video, Earl Sweatshirt announced the title of his album. Keeping it “odd,” Sweatshirt named his album Doris.
