Nine days from now, Wiz Khalifa will release O.N.I.F.C., his highly-anticipated sophomore album. Building a strong mixtape following, some critics felt Wiz Khalifa came out a little flat with his commercial debut. Admitting to feeling pressure about making music for everyone, Wiz Khalifa is taking things back.
While taking things back, Wiz Khalifa has taken marketing to another level. Perhaps influenced by the promotions of Rick Ross and Maybach Music, Wiz Khalifa has added elements. As opposed to speaking with several media outlets, Wiz Khalifa has sat down with himself to discuss each song on his album.
One of the latest leaks was “Rise Above,” which features Pharrell, Tuki Carter, and Amber Rose. Having the chance to record with the love of his life was a great experience for Wiz Khalifa. But, the opportunity to work with Pharrell was also great and Wiz Khalifa discussed this during his latest session.
