Nostalgia was in the air throughout the year of 2012. Several unexpected comebacks were staged this year. Anticipation was high for Nas’ return, but the Das EFX comeback came as a pleasant surprise. Gritty New York hip hop fans also received a treat when the long-discussed Wu-Block album came to be.
Centering around Ghostface Killah, of Wu-Tang Clan, and Sheek Louch, of D-Block/The L.O.X., anticipation was high for the album. Hardcore music strictly for the streets is what was delivered by the two. Last week, Ghostface Killah and Sheek Louch released the Wu-Block album to mostly positive reviews.
With the album out, Ghostface Killah and Sheek Louch are conducting their interviews. In New York City, the two landed at Hot 97, speaking with Peter Rosenberg for his “Juan Epstein” segment. Ghostface Killah was visiting the show for the first time.
