Joe Budden talks mixtapes, Ab-Soul, and “Momma Said” with Hardknock TV [VIDEO]

When he had no other outlet, Joe Budden dug deep and the result was Mood Muzik. A popular mixtape, Joe Budden decided to create a series. Unable to release his album, the Mood Muzik became a staple, making Joe Budden relevant again. Labels showing interest in Joe Budden led to his eventual release from Def Jam and the release of an official sophomore album.

After spending the past three years with a primary focus on Slaughterhouse and making rounds with Royce Da 5’9, Crooked I, and Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden is back. Right after the welcome to: OUR House release, Joe Budden announced his A Loose Quarter mixtape. Last week, Joe Budden released the mixtape and announced his next album, No Love Lost.

Joe Budden recently spoke to Hardknock TV and he spoke on what he has coming next. Among the things discussed were his mixtapes. During the interview, Joe Budden explained the difference between his Mood Muzik series and his latest mixtape release. Talking about unfinished business and Ab-Soul, Joe Budden also explained how his “Momma Said” single came to be.
