Last month, Pusha T surprised fans when he collaborated with Future. The name of their collaboration was “Pain.” An unorthodox union, Pusha T stuck to his tradition and Future fit the song well, providing the hook. “Pain” introduced the Wrath of Caine mixtape Pusha T has been working on.
Since the announcement, Wrath of Caine has not been mentioned since. Aside from his work with G.O.O.D. Music, Pusha T remained absent in 2012. However, through Twitter it was revealed that Wrath of Caine will be released this year. With a little over a month remaining in the year, Wrath of Caine is due next month.
It turns out “Pain” is a bit more cryptic than many assumed. Pusha T has been working on his debut album for some time. The final verse of “Pain” reveals the title of his debut album, however. My Name is My Name is the title of Pusha T’s 2013 debut and are the last words he utters on “Pain” with Future.
