It was just two years ago when critics were saying the South was dying and magazines were questioning what was going wrong in Atlanta. After a complete decade of dominating the hip hop world, Atlanta found itself taking a back seat. Last year was a strong resurgence, overall, and it opened the door for Ca$h Out to blaze a trail.

Putting Atlanta-based label, Bases Loaded Records, on the map, Ca$h Out went from being an internet sensation to a fixture on BET and MTV. Ironically, the bulk of his success came on the strength of a mixtape. It’s My Time landed Ca$h Out a meeting with Epic Records and then made him L.A. Reid’s latest artist.

Fast forward one year and Ca$h Out has two hits under his belt and he is going for three. His new project, Keisha, is set for release in a little under a month. “Hold Up,” with Wale, is still doing well and Ca$h Out now introduces “Can I Be the One.” Ca$h Out released the behind the scenes clip for the video yesterday.
