Two years ago, Ja Rule was preparing his comeback and he revealed he was co-starring with Adrienne Bailon in the film, I’m In Love With a Church Girl. Ja Rule would be sentenced to prison later that year. But, it would take more than a prison sentence to stop Ja Rule from releasing his comeback album.
Ja Rule released PIL 2 while he was behind bars. The album was met with positive reviews, but was a commercial failure. Despite everything that went wrong with Ja Rule over the past few years, he did manage to sell records. In his career, Ja Rule never failed to certify gold.
Some of the best news for Ja Rule and his fans came when it was revealed that his prison release would take place on February 21, 2013. Upon getting out, Ja Rule is still planning his major comeback. In addition to making new music, Ja Rule also has the I’m In Love With a Church Girl film in the works.
