With technology literally at the fingertips of most, the people want everything delivered at the rapid pace of 4G. In the hip hop community, at the top of the wish-lists was Kendrick Lamar’s debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d. city. Out of nowhere, Kendrick Lamar rose to the forefront of the hip hop scene in Los Angeles, coming after co-signs from Game and Dr. Dre.

Kendrick Lamar received critical acclaim with the release of good kid, m.A.A.d. city. Everyone was pleased with the album with the exception of Shyne. A non-confrontational artist, Game stepped in for Kendrick Lamar. Game was Shyne’s biggest supporter prior to their high-profile feud, to which not even a comment has come from K. Dot.

As Game and Shyne exchange disses over Kendrick Lamar’s debut album, fans are already hyping up the sophomore album. But, as fate would have it, Kendrick Lamar is less Jay-Z and more Dr. Dre, meaning he is taking his time with his next album. Kendrick Lamar spoke to Bootleg Kev at Powerhouse 2012 and he said fans should expect a gap between his first and second albums.
