For most of 2012, there was a lot of talk about Game releasing a new album. However, by the time summer approached, several artists already used his album title. Instead of taking aim at these artists, Game re-titled his album. With the exception of revealing the title changed to Jesus Piece, Game had little to no evidence of his album.
Late in August, Game changed all of this with the release of “Celebration.” Game showed his weight in the game when he featured Chris Brown, Tyga, Lil Wayne, and Wiz Khalifa on the single. Each of those artists are among 2012’s biggest artists and Game was able to have them all on the same song.
“Celebration” reminded fans of the Bone Thugz-N-Harmony days. Everyone, with the exception of Lil Wayne, performed their verses like Bone. Game would feature Bone Thugz-N-Harmony on the official remix of the single. With “Celebration (remix)” as a bonus track on Jesus Piece, Game released the official trailer for the music video.
