Before the release of Dreams and Nightmares, Meek Mill and Cassidy got into an argument on Twitter. It seemed as if Cassidy was taking shots at Meek Mill, who in many ways, took his place on the Philadelphia hip hop scene. However, the two quickly made peace and battle rap took over the game.
Meek Mill made offers to battle and Cassidy soon accepted. Now, the Philadelphia duo have gone from the battle rap phenomenon to the growing number of beefs. Joining the likes of Gucci Mane, Shyne, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, and Game, Meek Mill has been trading jabs with Cassidy on Twitter, starting when Meek said Cass had to get poppin to battle him.
