In 2008, Lil Wayne rose to the top of the rap world, becoming the biggest emcee on the planet. Given all he overcame, Lil Wayne was a source of inspiration, as he defied numerous odds to reach the top. Quincy Jones III followed in the footsteps of his father and branched out into the media.

Launching QD3 Ent., Quincy Jones III made a name for his young company when he released a documentary about Lil Wayne. The documentary displayed everything the Young Money honcho overcame to reach the top. While well-received, Lil Wayne soon filed a lawsuit against Quincy Jones III.

When the case finally reached trial, Lil Wayne appeared to be high during the first deposition. After his seizures last month, Lil Wayne was unable to make his later court appearances. In his absence, Wayne’s poor behavior was shown and the judge ruled for him to pay $2.1 million to Quincy Jones III, per his countersuit, as Wayne lost the case.
