With high speed internet to available all over the world, it has become easier for people to connect virtually, thus making travel less necessary. This has worked out particularly well for those in the entertainment field. People from small markets, even rural markets, are able to connect without having to travel.

Mandy is working in the entertainment industry and she is becoming highly popular. Working at Hooters has provided benefits for Mandy. Through her work, Mandy has met a few major industry figures and this proved to have a positive impact on her. Artists from major record labels have also had Mandy on their radar, including Maybach Music affiliate, Rezz Vokalz.

Becoming highly popular, while located in West Virginia, Mandy has used the platform at Hooters to her advantage. Due to Mandy’s growing fan base, Hip Hop Vibe reached out to her, making her this week’s Hottie of the Week.

Read the entire interview below:

How long have you been modeling? I have been into modeling since I was thirteen.

While pursuing this dream, you are currently working at Hooters? Working at Hooters has helped me get recognized in small ways, but our location isn’t the best, so it’s hard to find modeling jobs.

Has this job helped you to get noticed by the right people? Again, being in this location has made it sort of tough to connect with the right people, but progress is still being made.

If you were not modeling, what would you be doing? If I wasn’t pursuing this, I’d be in school for culinary or art.

Who are some of the people helping you get your footing as a model? My mother is a blessing, I couldnt do the things I do if it wasnt for her.

Do you feel as if your overall support system is strong? My support system is as strong as I could ask for it to be. Things get tough, but I push through.

What are some of your other interests? I am a really good artist and I love whipping things up in the kitchen.

How are things different pursuing a modeling career from West Virginia, as opposed to Miami or Atlanta? It’s difficult getting into modeling here in West Virginia, as we just don’t have the means for it, but it’s home to me. I love my country roads.
