Machine Gun Kelly talks “Lace Up” creation in documentary [VIDEO]

Suddenly, Bad Boy Records is back in the headlines, after falling out of the public eye for a few years. Watching the game, as he prepared to take it over one more time, Diddy scouted some of the biggest unsigned artists in the game. Last summer, Diddy signed Cleveland rapper, Machine Gun Kelly, followed by French Montana.

Machine Gun Kelly shocked the world with his aggressive style. Though hardcore rap still exists, Machine Gun Kelly breathed new life into the sub-genre. The energy brought by MGK had not been seen since DMX was in the game. Perhaps, DMX saw this and was why he decided to work with Machine Gun Kelly.

Two weeks ago, Machine Gun Kelly released Lace Up, his debut album. The project has been met with generally positive reviews. With the album out, Machine Gun Kelly is keeping the momentum going. Now, his focus is on making the documentary on the album and in the first released clip, he explains the creation of Lace Up.
