There was once a time when Consequence was among the artists predicted to become one of the biggest artists from New York City. Signed to G.O.O.D. Music, Consequence would release his debut album in 2007. However, after the release of his 2007 album, Consequence would be backburnered.
Soon, Consequence started feuds with his cousin, Q-Tip, and Kanye West. Consequence would accuse Pusha T of stealing a line from him before leaving G.O.O.D. Music. For the remainder of 2010 and most of 2011, Consequence took shots at Q-Tip and Kanye West. But, before the end of 2011, he ended those feuds.
Focused on making more music, Consequence recently spoke to Montreality. During their interview, Consequence talked about his mixtape, Movies on Demand 4. Consequence would also announce the title of his new album, Start Your Own Business. The album does not have a release date.
