DJ Drama talks “Quality Street Music,” “Dedication 4,” and more with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

With two months left in 2012, DJ Drama has enjoyed a great year, from start to finish. DJ Drama began the year promoting his Quality Street Music album. Only months after Third Power was released, DJ Drama released “We in this Bitch,” the first single off his Quality Street Music album. Months after the first single was released, DJ Drama began working with 50 Cent.

In 2008, 50 Cent announced he was going to release a mixtape with DJ Drama. 50 Cent engaged in much discussion about the mixtape. However, at the time, 50 Cent was also working on his Before I Self Destruct album. In addition to his album, 50 Cent was promoting his MTV series. Ultimately, 50 Cent’s show was short-lived and the album was disappointing, but he linked with DJ Drama in 2012.

After doing The Lost Tape with 50 Cent, DJ Drama and Lil Wayne released Dedication 4, Wayne’s long-awaited mixtape. This week, DJ Drama released his fourth studio album, Quality Street Music. With the album out, DJ Drama has been making his New York City media rounds. DJ Drama would speak with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” about the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards, his mixtape with Lil Wayne, and his album.
