A few weeks ago, rumors began about Nicki Minaj being hired as an “American Idol” judge. Since the beginning of her career, there have been numerous rumors about Nicki Minaj jumping into reality television. But, as fate would have it, the “American Idol” rumors were true and Nicki Minaj would become co-hosts with Mariah Carey.
Due to both ladies being big names in urban music, it was expected for the two to hit it off. Instead, there were several rumors of the two not getting along. While there were many stories about Mariah Carey arguing with Nicki Minaj, there was no proof. However, when TMZ released the footage of Nicki Minaj cursing Mariah Carey out, the gloves came off.
Mariah Carey would speak to Barbara Walters earlier today. During their discussion, Mariah Carey would state she was afraid for her safety. Nicki Minaj would get on Twitter and accuse Mariah Carey of being a liar. Aside from the debate between President Obama and Mitt Romney, the ongoing feud between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj would be a main topic on “The View.”
