Early this year, Diggy Simmons released his Unexpected Arrival debut album. The project would go on to produce the standout single, “Do it Like You.” Released in the early spring of 2012, the album quickly fizzled, despite being met with an overall positive reception. Only weeks after Diggy Simmons released his debut album, he released a record aimed at J. Cole.
J. Cole previously made claims of having a sexual relationship with Angela Simmons. Perhaps the most-discussed Simmons female, Diggy stepped up for his big sister. Diggy Simmons would take aim at J. Cole with the blessing of his father. However, the feud would immediately end when J. Cole said he would not go after the young Simmons and they shook hands.
One month ago, however, Diggy Simmons came back at J. Cole. The latest diss from Diggy Simmons confused fans who thought the feud was over. Tyrese Gibson would also step in to defend Diggy, prompting a number of jokes from Young Jack Thriller of ThisIs50.com. Diggy Simmons told him J. Cole was the one who re-ignited the animosity.
