Slowly, 50 Cent has been mending fences with his former rivals. In 2008, 50 Cent officially ended his feud with Jadakiss. While he and Rick Ross began feuding in 2009, 50 Cent buried the hatchet with Cam’ron the same year. After ending more of his minor feuds, many have been waiting on him ending the big feuds with Fat Joe, Ja Rule, and Rick Ross.

Late in August of 2012, Chris Lighty, 50 Cent’s manager, died. Also the manager of Fat Joe, many began hoping 50 Cent and Fat Joe would reconcile. After both appeared at Lighty’s funeral and behaved, many suggested the feud would end. 50 Cent, however, said Lighty’s death changed nothing, but this was not the case at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards.

50 Cent made it official on Twitter, when he announced his feud with Fat Joe was over. The head of G-Unit would even go as far as hinting to a collaboration with Fat Joe in the near future. All eyes were on 50 Cent and Fat Joe heading into the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards, which took place in Atlanta, instead Young Jeezy and Rick Ross stole the show with their fight.

In addition to having issues with 50 Cent, Rick Ross has also been going back and forth with Young Jeezy for two years. Rick Ross has shown some 50-like tactics in his Jeezy feud, but the gloves were off in Atlanta. After Young Jeezy and Rick Ross fought, Gunplay, an artist signed to Maybach Music, would get into a fight with several minor G-Unit artists. 50 Cent would offer brief commentary on the entire situation with TMZ.
