Heading into the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards, the focus was on 50 Cent and Fat Joe, who were asked to perform together. Over the past seven years, 50 Cent and Fat Joe have traded insults and threats. In 2005, the two camps nearly came to blows at the MTV Video Music Awards. However, earlier tonight, the two performed together and shook hands.
The same, however, could not be said for Young Jeezy and Rick Ross, who infamously battled 50 Cent in 2009. Young Jeezy and Rick Ross have been trading subliminal disses for over two years. However, each have said they are willing to talk again if they money is right, but this was not the case tonight.
Funkmaster Flex, who broke the 50 Cent/Fat Joe story via Twitter also brok the story about the fight between Young Jeezy and Rick Ross. According to Flex, Young Jeezy and Rick Ross had words backstage. This argument led to pushing and shoving that spilled over into the parking lot. Eventually, shots were fired and the gunman was arrested.
According to Twitter member, @JasFly, Young Jeezy and Rick Ross got into a shoving match in the parking lot. A gunman was eventually arrested and Rick Ross performed as planned. Young Jeezy, however, is nowhere to be found. While the Chris Lighty tribute was held, the building was under lock down. Machine Gun Kelly would also comment on the situation, saying he got mase in his eyes.
