The image to the left is one of the most-memorable moments of the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. A$AP Rocky established himself, in 2012, as one of the biggest new rappers in the game. Alongside French Montana, A$AP Rocky has made the hip hop scene in New York relevant, once again.
A new peak for A$AP Rocky came in the days leading up to the VMAs, as Rihanna reached out to him. The famous pop singer wanted A$AP Rocky to add a verse to her single, “Cockiness.” Immediately, the song began impacting radio and the two would perform it at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.
Caught up in the moment, A$AP Rocky would grab Rihanna on the rear and kiss her on the neck during their performance. In the weeks since the VMAs, A$AP Rocky has done a lot of discussion about the moment. During his interview with Angie Martinez for Hot 97, A$AP Rocky discussed grabbing Rihanna and fashion.
